Sugar Lake

We spent 5 days up at Sugar Lake in Cohasset, MN (near Grand Rapids) last week with Colin's family. It was a blast - we golfed several times, played tennis, and spent a lot of time on the water skiiing, tubing, boating, and being out in the sun. Dexter had an absolute blast - and confirmed that he is not a city dog, but a water dog. He would just lay in the water all day long and whined when someone was not throwing him a ball to swim and retrieve. His new life jacket worked very well and he was able to swim in the middle of the lake =)

Please throw my ball!

Colin's flying lessons

Before we left on vacation to Sugar Lake, I went with Colin to watch his flying lessons. He and his instructor stayed in the pattern, so I got to see him take off and land several times. He's getting closer to his license!!

Dexter's New Life Jacket

We're going up to the King Cabin next weekend and got a new life jacket for Dexter, so we can feel comfortable with him swimming in the middle of the lake and being on the boat!

Super dog!

Colin and I went to the Duluth Air Show a couple weekends ago to check out the Navy Blue Angels, as well as a bunch of stunt acts. It was a really fun weekend!

Ford, Colin, and Dexter

Katherine's family came over for a barbeque this weekend to celebrate her birthday. Dexter was really good around Ford - in fact I think he was a little scared of the little guy. Here are a couple pics!
Cheeesssse!
Cute guys =)
